National Museum of Naval Aviation
The National Naval Aviation Museum is the world's largest Naval Aviation museum and one of the most-visited museums in the state of Florida, featuring nearly 375,000 square feet of displays and boasts more than 190 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard aviation. At the Hangar Bay One expansion, ride the thrilling MaxFlight flight simulators with 360 degree motion technology, or see a variety of unique exhibits as well as the drama and power of amazing IMAX® films.
The aircraft are the largest of the Museum relics, they are just one dimension of the collection. More than 4,000 uniforms, flight gear, weaponry, medals and decorations add a personal touch to the story of Naval Aviation. These historic and one-of-a-kind aircraft are displayed both inside the Museum's nearly 300,000 square feet of exhibit space.
