Orange Beach Indian and Sea Museum

This unique community museum is dedicated to the preservation of the Gulf Coast sea and Indian history, as well as local history. The museum is owned by the city of Orange Beach it is located in a 100+ year-old schoolhouse (circa 1910) with original furnishings. The museums displays consist ofartifacts and memorabilia dating back to the very first settlers in the area. Native American arrowheads and spearheads; a 100-lb cannonball shot from Fort Morgan, fishing and farming gear from centuries past and more. Many of the historic items, photographs and documents have been donated by families whose ancestors settled the surrounding areas. Tours and programs are available.

Open Tuesday& Thursday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Group Tours may be booked at other times by making reservations.A group would be considered fiveor more. Admission is free.Located behhind the City Hall complex, Highway 161.
